We are seeking a candidate for a Sales & Business Development role, west of the Mississippi. This is a mid-level business development and sales role primarily responsible for growing business with existing businesses and secondarily with acquiring new business clients. The Sales & Business Development candidate will build strong relationships with prospective and existing Cascade utility and industrial sector clients, as well as industry partners, and provide input for the formulation of proposals for services. The ideal Sales & Business Development candidate will be responsible for closing sales and supporting the successful handoff of these sales to appropriate staff within Cascade for delivery of energy efficiency and decarbonization services.

This is a full-time, exempt role. We are currently looking to fill this role for a territory in the western United States. This position will be remote, but preference will be given to candidates near a Cascade office. Cascade is a strong supporter of flexible working arrangements, and all employees have the option to choose a hybrid work arrangement combining work from home and work in the office.
Travel for this position may be up to 30 days per year for in-person visitation with key business and association contacts and participation in key industry events, conferences, and meeting.

Our total rewards include competitive pay and excellent benefits. The salary range for this position will be geographically adjusted depending on where the final candidate is based. The salary (normalized for home office of Portland, OR) is $85,500 - $104,500 per year. However, final salary offered may vary depending on non-discriminatory factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experiences.
