ABOUT THE POSITION

The SharePoint Coordinator is responsible for driving efficiencies and helping internal customers within our organization to better connect, communicate, operate, and innovate. This position provides front-end support for SharePoint sites, tools, applications, and training and support of SharePoint Power Users throughout the company. They work with teams to improve business processes via SharePoint, build SharePoint tools, sites, and workflows, and as act as an enthusiastic ambassador for SharePoint within the company. The SharePoint Coordinator is accountable for supporting the SharePoint platform within all areas of Cascade’s operations including day-to-day functioning of SharePoint, developing and executing processes and procedures, identifying and resolving issues, and providing training to internal teams.

The SharePoint Coordinator reports to the IT Manager. This full-time, exempt position is based in our Portland office, and does not require travel.  

Key Responsibilities include:

  • SharePoint helpdesk support including fixing hours entries, retrieving deleted documents, and assisting with general SharePoint inquiries
  • Introduce and train new and existing staff in basic SharePoint use
  • Train SharePoint Power Users, run training and working sessions
  • Oversee and assist with structure and design for Power User projects
  • Maintain existing non-Power-User-owned sites/pages/features/historic projects
  • Report creation, design, and subscriber management
  • HAPD data architecture consulting to leadership and other teams
  • Testing new code releases or changes to system core lists/data/systems
  • Gather detailed troubleshooting information to support consultant work
  • Consult with leadership and stakeholders on prioritization and selection of projects

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates with experience and knowledge of the following areas will be given the highest consideration:

  • High proficiency in SharePoint (2013 and online) out-of-the-box solutions including: site creation, customization and maintenance, creation of custom lists, libraries and pages; using SharePoint Designer to create custom workflows; using InfoPath to customize forms
  • Proficiency with HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript to customize the SharePoint front-end (strongly preferred)
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Desire to multitask and ability to manage and meet project deadlines
  • Clear, proactive, and empathetic written and verbal communication (English) with customers and clients
  • Ability to teach and instruct others, to work both independently and in a team environment, and to comfortably interact with and serve the needs of internal and external customers
  • Comfortable with managing multiple overlapping requests throughout the day
  • Aptitude with numbers and data manipulation, familiarity with databases, spreadsheet tools, and relational data concepts
  • Motivated, independent, and self-sufficient, with the ability to receive an assigned task and see it through to completion with minimal supervision
  • Precise and exacting attention to detail, strong work ethic, and a passion for helping others

To be considered for this position, your resume should also demonstrate:

  • Work experience in a helpdesk, IT, or service role
  • Relevant academic and/or technical qualifications (college degree in a technical field or equivalent experience)

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Our total rewards includes competitive pay and excellent benefits.
