We are seeking an Outreach Manager who will be the main point of contact for the coordination of Utility-offered industrial energy efficiency programs and resources. The Outreach Manager uses their CA industrial plant network to proactively develop natural gas and electric efficiency project opportunities, build relationships, and act as the facilitator between customers, vendors, implementation contractors, and energy efficiency service providers.

This is a full-time, exempt position to cover our California territory and reports to the Program Manager. This position can be based from a home office location in California or Cascade’s Pleasanton, CA officeTravel is anticipated for this role approximately 20% - 30% of the time, consisting primarily of day trips.

Qualifications

As a part of our team, the most important qualifications are shared values, a customer-centric approach, and an aptitude for learning. You would be a great fit for this position if you:

  •  Bring comprehensive knowledge of industrial customers, vendors, suppliers, and contractors operating in California (focused on, but not  limited to, natural gas)
  •  Hold a solid understanding of industrial technologies (i.e., what systems use energy, how they use energy, what methods exist for reducing energy use)
  •  Understand the industrial environment, have experience on a technical sales team, and deep knowledge of the energy efficiency opportunities related to natural gas
  •  Enjoy building and leveraging industry networks by communicating effectively with a broad audience ranging from executives to equipment operators
  •  Pay close attention to customer “care-abouts” and have built trusting, long-term, professional relationships
  •  Have a BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, Engineering, or related field
  •  Exercise critical thinking and apply exceptional problem-solving skills while remaining flexible
  •  Understand project financial metrics and how projects are “sold” to upper management
Compensation & Benefits

Our total rewards include competitive pay and excellent benefits.
